Run for the Rangers
By participating in the Wildlife Ranger Run (A half marathon with a 22kg backpack) I want to help the men and women working at the frontlinie in Africa's protected area's! Donate and help me raise money for these heroes!
Growing up in the Netherlands I have always been very active. For a brief time I worked in the army and trained for the Dutch Special Forces. Now I will start working as a firefighter. With a passion for nature and love for animals and sports I am taking part in this challenge and hope to help this cause with this fundraiser.
I am taking part in the Ranger Challenge for Tusk Trust because I want to support the rangers in Africa.
Rangers are Africa’s unsung heroes. They don’t just fight poaching - they are conservationists, teachers, community support workers, leaders and much more.
The Wildlife Ranger Challenge, organised by Tusk and culminating on 17th September, celebrates their many roles, and is raising much-needed funds to support their work.
The half marathon with an extra 22kgs backpack I will do in The Netherlands tracking my score with my Garmin watch on the 17th of September.
