My story

Welcome! My name is Josie,

On the 17th of September, the team S.W.A.T.T. (Survive. Wilderness. And. Triumph. Together.) will run a half marathon in solidarity with African wildlife rangers for the 2022 Wildlife Ranger Challenge.

The Wildlife Ranger Challenge is a time of unity as the world unites for the fundraising campaign to help raise money for front-line conservation efforts and to raise awareness of the ever-diversifying role of rangers.

For those who do not know me or are unaware, I'm currently studying humanities and environmental science.

With my pastime, I am a marathon runner who runs with an incredible team for sport and recreation.

As a travel enthusiast, I have been fortunate to visit many unique places; among them, I had the opportunity to travel to Africa and meet the wildlife rangers and their communities, forming lifelong friendships and memories.

Giving you this brief introduction about myself highlights the value of this campaign to me, especially as a future environmentalist whose goal is to preserve ecosystems and ensure ecological sustainability and prosperity for future generations.
